Ken holds a Master’s in Design and Educational Technology and has over two decades of teaching experience, especially at the Middle School level, integrating technology. He is an Apple Distinguished Educator, Google Certified Innovator, and Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert. Having served on the California State Superintendent of Public Instruction’s Education Technology Task Force, Ken champions equitable learning opportunities. His vast expertise includes Organizational Leadership, Policy Analysis, Inclusive Learning, Antibias/Antiracism, Career and Technical Education, and more. Recognized by the International Society for Technology in Education, he earned the Digital Equity Professional Learning Network Excellence Award in 2018 and the Making IT Happen Award in 2022. EdTech Magazine has hailed him as a top influencer. Globally in demand, Ken speaks at conferences, schools, and NGOs, supporting entities like State Departments of Education and Ministries of Education. Currently, Ken is on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Advisory Board for numerous tech firms and non-profits. Beyond advisory, his contributions encompass policy analysis, platform assessment, and community outreach, all geared toward fostering an inclusive, equitable future in education.
