Dr. Adams is on the Association for Career Technical Education (ACTE) national Board of Directors, has written four books about CTE instruction and meaningful teacher collaboration, and is currently a CTE Principal for a regional CTE Center in Indiana.
The Connection Imperative: Building Students Professional Networks through Social Capital
Julia Freeland Fisher, Catapult
Julia Freeland Fisher is the director of education research at the Clayton Christensen Institute and author of the book, Who You Know: Unlocking Innovations that Expand Students’ Networks. She researches students’ access to and ability to mobilize peer, mentor, and industry connections. Julia started her career at NewSchools Venture Fund. She holds a BA from Princeton University and a JD from Yale Law School.
